Twenty Iranian sailors from a vessel seized by the U.S. have returned to Tehran from Islamabad, Iran’s IRNA outlet reported. The sailors arrived in the Iranian capital after their release from custody in Pakistan. Officials in Islamabad coordinated the transfer.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported that the death toll from an Israeli air raid on Deir Qanoun en-Nahr has risen to 14 killed and three wounded.

The raid occurred on Tuesday in southern Lebanon’s Tyre district and killed a family of 11, including three children. Ireland’s deputy prime minister called for a strong EU response to the detention of flotilla activists, describing the treatment as despicable and a breach of international law.

Pakistan’s army chief is traveling to Tehran, according to Iran’s ISNA news agency. Pakistan’s interior minister also visited Tehran this week. Israeli air raids were reported overnight on several towns in southern Lebanon, including Tulin, Kfar Dounine, Froun, Sarbine and Tayr Debba.

Indonesia condemned the detention of activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla and said it is working to secure the release of detained Indonesian citizens.
