Ireland Defeats Japan 36-20 for Second Bonus-Point Win

Ireland defeated Japan 36-20 in a Nations Championship rugby match on July 11 in Newcastle, Australia, bbc.co.uk reported. The visitors scored five tries and earned a bonus-point win despite nine changes to the starting lineup from their previous match. Nick Timoney, Tom O'Toole, Robbie Henshaw, Sean Jansen and Tom Stewart scored the tries for Ireland.

Ciaran Frawley kicked three conversions and Harry Byrne added one conversion and one penalty. Head coach Andy Farrell said the scoreline flattered his side but expressed relief at securing the win with four debutants and multiple changes.
