The Israel Defense Forces conducted strikes throughout the day on Sunday in several areas of southern Lebanon. The IDF said the strikes targeted more than 20 terror infrastructure sites, including weapon storage facilities, headquarters, and military-used structures from which Hezbollah terrorists operated.

The strikes come as talks are scheduled between Israel and Lebanon and Washington later this week. The Lebanese Ministry of Health released an updated death toll from Israeli strikes, reporting over 2,800 killed and nearly 8,700 wounded.

Trump called Iran's latest response to a U.S. peace proposal totally unacceptable in a social media post on Sunday. ' I don’t like it — TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Thank you for your attention to this matter," Trump wrote on Truth Social. Iranian state media reported that Tehran sent its response to the U.S.-proposed text outlining a possible end to the war.

The response was sent via Pakistani mediators.

Status of U.S.

has Iran's enriched uranium surveilled. Appearing on "Full Measure," Trump stated that if anybody got near the site, forces would know and respond. He added that Iran has been defeated but combat operations are not necessarily concluded. Trump said U.S. forces had hit about 70 percent of targeted sites.

He noted that even without striking remaining targets, it would take Iran many years to rebuild. Trump described Iranian negotiators as difficult but maintained that their nuclear capabilities have been severely weakened.
