Israel Orders Evacuation of Seven Lebanese Villages
Israeli forces advanced north of the Litani River and ordered residents out of seven southern Lebanese villages on Saturday. The moves follow Friday talks in Washington and come amid continued exchanges of fire between Israeli troops and Hezbollah.

Hezbollah said it fired rockets at the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona and ambushed Israeli soldiers near Ghandouriyeh, claiming it forced the troops to withdraw. It also reported firing rockets at an Israeli military base in northern Israel.
