The strikes continued even as pro-government demonstrators gathered in Tehran after the announcement of the two-week conditional ceasefire between the US and Iran. An Iranian missile hit Dimona in southern Israel earlier in the conflict.
A burning fuel tanker drove through the centre of Hasakah, Syria, in a separate incident captured on video. The United Arab Emirates is quitting Opec after nearly 60 years of membership, BBC News reported. The move comes amid the wider regional tensions.
