Israeli Drone Strike Kills One, Wounds Another in Gaza City

An Israeli drone attack on the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City killed one Palestinian and wounded another, according to sources at al-Ahli Arab Hospital. The same sources told Al Jazeera that emergency responders retrieved the casualties from the strike site. The attack took place as Israeli forces continued operations in northern Gaza.

Israeli shelling in the town of Beit Lahiya killed two people, emergency services sources in northern Gaza said. Bodies were recovered following the shelling. The Israeli army has increased gunfire and shelling to expand the area it refers to as the "yellow zone" in northern Gaza.

Ministry stated that the country will seek justice against the U.S. and Israel. The ministry described attendance at funeral ceremonies for the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as evidence of his stature. Lebanon's president called on the U.S. to continue supporting Lebanon following a recent framework agreement with Israel.

The agreement includes provisions for the disarmament of Hezbollah, which has rejected the deal. The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has reached 4,303 killed and 12,202 wounded, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.
