Israeli Drone Strike Kills Palestinian in Jabalia Refugee Camp

An Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian near the Abu Sharikh roundabout in Jabalia refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, @AJEnglish reported. The same agency cited the Wafa news agency in reporting that the strike also injured others in the northern section of the camp. Earlier Israeli attacks killed two people in Beit Lahiya and one in Gaza City.

Israeli attacks hit the towns of al-Mansouri and Tallousah in southern Lebanon in the last few hours, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency. The Israeli military separately stated it killed one person in the Majdal Zoun area of southern Lebanon and described the victim as an armed terrorist.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian criticised the international community’s failure to stop Israel from attacking multiple countries in the region.

He added that Iran’s new leadership bears a heavy responsibility to strengthen Islamic unity and expand solidarity among Muslim states. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called for urgent implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement signed in Sharm el-Sheikh last October and the US-Iran MoU signed last month in Switzerland.

He said Egypt had lost more than $10bn in Suez Canal revenue because of Houthi attacks on vessels in the Bab al-Mandeb strait.

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said he was pleased to have received representatives from more than seventy countries at commemorations for the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The event was attended by friendly Arab nations, Araghchi stated on X.

Former Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said Lebanon’s government was forced to enter negotiations with Israel because of the situation created by Hezbollah.

He criticised the framework agreement for lacking provisions on Israeli withdrawal. Lebanon’s Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Sayed said approximately 400,000 displaced people have returned to their homes in southern Lebanon. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the EU has earmarked over 2.7 billion euros in humanitarian aid and budget support to Gaza since October 23.
