Israeli Forces Launch New Raids in Southern Syria

Israeli forces launched new ground raids across Syria’s Quneitra countryside over the past two days. Five military vehicles entered the town of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah on Saturday, where soldiers set up a checkpoint and searched passers-by, according to the Syrian state news agency SANA.

Troops stationed in al-Hamidiyah fired a mortar round and smoke grenade the same day, causing no casualties.

On Friday night, six vehicles advanced near Syria’s Koudna Dam under drone cover before withdrawing.
