Hadas must conceal her actions from her boss, played by Tzahi Grad. Her late father was a senior surgeon at the same hospital, giving her initial protection from suspicion. Colleagues begin to notice clues about the unauthorized procedure. The series depicts graphic surgery scenes similar to those in The Pitt.
The story draws comparisons to the film Dirty Pretty Things and the series Royal Pains. Sultan also portrays Hadas caring for her mentally disabled sister. The series was created by Endemol Shine Israel in collaboration with The North Road Company and SIPUR.
