About 100 people from Israel and the West Bank gathered last week at a Christian school in Beit Jala to discuss Israeli settler attacks on Palestinians, Haaretz reported. The conference took place on the grounds of the school in the hills of the West Bank. Participants spoke Hebrew, Arabic and English.
Israeli and Palestinian activists organized the meeting to seek solutions to the attacks. A photograph taken last month near the village of Jurish, south of Nablus, showed Palestinians viewing a newly established settler outpost.
