In one operation, forces entered a village covertly and in disguise before placing the building where the suspect was located under siege.
The suspect, a Palestinian Authority police officer accused of planning an attack, surrendered upon realizing the situation and was transferred for questioning. In a separate operation in the Askar camp, undercover police arrived in the area at the same time that overt forces carried out a siege on the building where the second suspect was located.
That suspect, who had previously been involved in terrorist activity and arrested in the past, also surrendered.
The third suspect was arrested during the operations near Hebron. Police stated that the two operatives in that area had planned attacks in the immediate time frame. All three suspects were taken into custody and transferred for further questioning following the arrests.
