Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least eight Palestinians on Sunday, including three community kitchen workers in Deir el-Balah and others in Khan Younis and Beit Lahiya. All three victims worked at the kitchen, according to Al Jazeera reporter Hind Khoudary.

Ministry statistics published on Sunday showed that at least 72,760 Palestinians have died since October 7, 2023, including at least 871 since the ceasefire began last October. Hamas described the Deir el-Balah strike as a deliberate war crime and a renewed scene of the ongoing genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip.

The group added that the attack occurred amid unjustified international silence.

Israeli forces said they killed a person in the buffer zone on Sunday, stating without evidence that the victim was armed and posed an imminent threat. The army also said it killed a Hamas commander identified as Bahaa Baroud. There was no immediate confirmation from the group.
