The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that five Palestinians were killed and 49 wounded in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours. The ministry said two people were newly killed, one died of previous wounds, and one body was recovered from under rubble.

It added that rescue crews remain unable to reach many victims still trapped under debris or on roads. Since a ceasefire took effect on October 11, the ministry has recorded 951 people killed and 2,984 wounded, with 782 bodies recovered from rubble.

Separately, Iran launched seven ballistic missiles toward Bahrain and Kuwait early Saturday, according to a statement from Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry. ” Bahrain accused Iran of breaching UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026). m. local time, with sounds of explosions resulting from interceptions.

In southern Lebanon, the Israeli military issued new evacuation orders for residents of Armati, Mashgara, Kafr Huna, Sajad and Ansariya, instructing them to leave immediately and move north of the Zahrani River. A senior Lebanese member of parliament called for severing diplomatic relations with Iran after its foreign minister criticized Lebanon’s president. The MP said the comments crossed “all boundaries of diplomatic rudeness” and treated Lebanon as subordinate to Tehran.
