Jane Fonda Called Ted Turner Her Favorite Ex-Husband Years Before His Death at 87

Fonda teared up during a speech at the 30th annual EmPower Party and gala for the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential, an organization the two founded in 1995.

She said the group "never would have happened if it wasn't for Ted" and credited his support during a challenging time in Georgia. Lewy body dementia is a neurological disorder that causes a gradual decline in mental abilities as well as rigid muscles, slow movement, trouble walking and tremors.

Fonda's representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Turner's passing.
