Jason Bradley DeFord, known professionally as Jelly Roll, filed for divorce from Alisa Andrea DeFord, known professionally as Bunnie XO, on May 18. Court records reviewed by USA TODAY on Monday, June 15, show the couple separated on May 9. The couple married in 2016.
TMZ first reported the filing on June 15. Jelly Roll won the Grammy for best contemporary country album in February and dedicated the trophy to Bunnie XO during the ceremony.
She wept and applauded from the audience. " Bunnie XO posted on TikTok in 2024 that the couple briefly split in 2018. " Jelly Roll has two children from previous relationships: 18-year-old Bailee Ann and 9-year-old Noah Buddy.
In her book "Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic," published in February, Bunnie XO wrote that she and Jelly Roll had found a surrogate and hoped to have twins via IVF. " USA TODAY reached out to representatives for Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO for comment.
