Jennifer Stone to Guest Star as Harper Finkle in Final Season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place

Variety reported that Jennifer Stone will guest star in the third and final season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, bringing back her character Harper Finkle. The Disney series serves as the sequel to Wizards of Waverly Place. Stone's appearance marks her first credited onscreen role since 2019.

Final Season Details

The final season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will consist of four episodes and is slated to air this summer on Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney on-demand platforms.

The official logline for Season 3 states that Billie, still reeling from losing Alex at the end of Season 2, discovers that the only way to rescue her mother is to reunite with her long-lost father. It further states that as Billie's family bands together to find Alex, Billie realizes that their combined power is the only way the Russos can defeat the evil plaguing them.

Cast and Appearances

David Henrie leads the cast of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, which includes Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora, and Mimi Gianopulos.

Janice LeAnn Brown plays Billie in the series. Selena Gomez, who plays Alex Russo, has made an appearance in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, along with Maria Canals Barrera and David DeLuise. Variety reported that Gregg Sulkin will appear in the final season as Mason Greyback.

Harper Finkle is the non-magical best friend of Alex Russo.

Jennifer Stone's Background

Jennifer Stone played Harper in all 106 episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place and in two films for the series.

She appeared in the films Secondhand Lions and Nothing Left to Fear. Stone took a hiatus from acting to pursue her bachelor's degree in nursing and worked as a nurse amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Stone starred in, co-wrote, and produced the indie feature The In-Between while in school.

She returned to Los Angeles in 2019 to pursue acting. Stone is represented by Sweeney Entertainment, and her publicist is Laura Ackermann.
