middleeasteye.netThe Jerusalem Municipality, the Israeli Building Center, and the Jerusalem Development Authority will hold the “Jerusalem. Your Home. Your Future” real estate and investment expo on May 28 in Midtown Manhattan. The fair is the first event of its kind focused exclusively on Jerusalem. Organizers expect around 1,000 participants from across the spectrum of the Jewish community in the United States.
The event will present projects at pre-sale prices and thousands of housing units currently under construction. Mayor Moshe Lion has advanced a strategic plan to add 8,300 new units each year. The municipality reports that building permits have tripled in recent years and that tens of thousands of housing units are moving forward.
Participants will meet real estate developers and industry professionals. A festive gala evening honoring Jerusalem will close the day and will be attended by Mayor Moshe Lion and leaders of the Jewish community in New York. The Israeli Building Center, headed by Chairman Eran Rolls, is the municipality’s professional partner for the initiative.
““Every Jew in the world has two homes: the home they physically live in, and Jerusalem. Our goal is to turn that second home into an accessible reality. Registration is required and places are limited. An email with the exact location will be sent 48 hours before the event for security purposes. The article was prepared in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality and the Israeli Building Center.”
