Jessie J Announces Cancer-Free Status After Year of Treatment

Singer Jessie J stated she is cancer-free in a video posted on Instagram on Thursday. " followed by 10 crying emojis. " The singer had announced her breast cancer diagnosis on social media in June 2025 and had surgery later that month.

August 2025, Jessie J rearranged and cancelled upcoming tour dates after revealing she needed further cancer treatment. She said she decided to go public about the diagnosis to help process it and show solidarity with others facing similar situations. " She told fans she needed to process the experience and talk about it.

J has had health issues throughout her life.

She was diagnosed with a heart condition as a child, had a stroke as a teenager, and briefly went deaf in 2020 due to Meniere's disease. In 2024, she revealed she had been diagnosed with ADHD and OCD. In December 2025, she told Women's Health that she had always had obscure health issues that doctors could not figure out.

She said nothing had broken her and that she believed she had gone through these experiences to help people.
