The 37-year-old woman on board engaged in behavior that escalated to verbal interactions with passengers and cabin crew, according to a statement from the Australian Federal Police. She faces charges of behaving in an offensive and disorderly manner and endangering the safety of an aircraft. The maximum penalty for these charges is a fine of $16,500. The woman is set to appear in court on May 11.
