John Paulson and Jenny Paulson Reach Divorce Settlement

John Paulson and Jenny Paulson have settled their divorce, with the settlement filed on May 4, Page Six has exclusively learned. “Jenny Paulson and John Paulson have come to the decision to amicably settle their divorce and trust-related litigations,” said Jenny’s attorney Robert S. Cohen and John’s attorney Marilyn Chinitz in a joint statement.

The settlement marks the end of a years-long bitter legal battle between the exes. In July 2022, Jenny Paulson accused John Paulson of setting up a secretive web of trusts to hide money from her, according to court documents. John Paulson’s side denied the accusation, saying the trusts were set up together decades ago to protect their kids.

Com reported. Jenny Paulson called John Paulson’s offer humiliating and demeaning. She wrote in an email that in her heart and spirit she feels she deserves a 50/50 split.

She also wrote that 60/40 is OK because there have been other similar divorce arrangements. Jenny Paulson called her ex’s offers disrespectful, shameful and humiliating. John Paulson’s side stated that his offer would make Jenny one of the richest women in America while keeping major trusts in place for their daughters.

The divorce also produced sharp exchanges between the attorneys. Robert S. Cohen said of John Paulson, “The man is worth billions of dollars… and Mr. Paulson offered Mrs. ’” The talks began in earnest earlier this year after a judge in the case encouraged the parties to engage in settlement talks.

Com the settlement is fair to everybody. The former spouses were at war over estates in the Hamptons and Aspen, Colo. com reported. John Paulson, 70, is engaged to Alina de Almeida, 38.
