Jordan Spieth made a 62-foot birdie putt on the par-4 sixth hole at the 2026 Memorial Tournament after aiming the ball at least 25 feet to the right of the cup. The ball rolled toward a downslope, where gravity carried it into the hole. The birdie was Spieth's first of the day.
Spieth, a three-time major champion, made the turn in 1-under 35. He added another birdie on the par-5 11th hole and moved up the early leaderboard. The 2026 Memorial Tournament is a PGA Tour event. m.
