Anthony Joshua's contract with Tyson Fury requires the fight to take place in the UK, Eddie Hearn said. Turki Al-Sheikh is bankrolling the event, which Hearn described as carrying an extortionate bill. Hearn told Sky Sports that the contract clause was added at Joshua's insistence.
He added that if another venue proved more beneficial, conversations about moving the fight to the United States would occur, though no such request had been made. Frank Warren stated he is confident the contest will occur at some point in late 2026. Tyson Fury is scheduled to fight on August 1 in Dublin, while Joshua is set to face Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Jeddah.
Hearn said Joshua keeps himself out of venue discussions until a decision is required from him. He described Joshua's conditioning as outstanding and said he has never seen the fighter so focused ahead of the July 25 bout.
