Kent defeated Hampshire by seven wickets with eight balls remaining, while Alex Lees scored 108 to help Durham beat Middlesex by 100 runs and Yorkshire tied with Derbyshire in the T20 Blast. Hampshire scored 176 for 6, with James Vince making 84 before Grant Stewart dismissed him and finished with 4 for 32. Daniel Bell-Drummond scored 54 and Sam Billings hit 50 off 21 balls to complete the chase.
Alex Lees scored 108 off 64 balls to equal the Durham record for the highest T20 score by a batter as Durham beat Middlesex by 100 runs at Richmond. Durham posted 218 for 6, their sixth-highest T20 total, while Ben Raine, Matthew Potts and Kasey Aldridge each took three wickets. Yorkshire tied with Derbyshire at Chesterfield in the first tie of the 2026 T20 Blast season.
Derbyshire made 215 for 9, their seventh-highest T20 total, but Matthew Revis hit four sixes in the final two overs and scrambled a single off the last ball to level the scores at 215. Nottinghamshire moved to the top of the North Group after beating Leicestershire by 74 runs at Grace Road. George Munsey scored an unbeaten 75 and George Linde hit 55 off 22 balls in Nottinghamshire's 209 for 4.
Rehan Ahmed made 45 and Ben Mike 39 in Leicestershire's reply. Worcestershire beat Somerset by 36 runs after posting 180 for 5. Matthew Waite took 3 for 23 and Usama Mir 3 for 34 while Somerset managed only 144.
Durham rose to third in the North Group after their win.
