Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky said Sunday that three out-of-state billionaires have contributed millions of dollars to his primary opponent. " Massie said the spending has made the race the most expensive congressional primary in history.

He named major GOP donors Miriam Adelson and Paul Singer, along with the Republican Jewish Coalition and American Israel Public Affairs Committee, as sources of the funding. "How did this race become the most expensive race in the history of Congress for a primary?

It's because three billionaires from outside of Kentucky have funneled millions of dollars in here," Massie said.

Massie is running against former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein, who received an endorsement from President Trump before entering the race. " Massie told ABC News that he has received millions of dollars in grassroots contributions and the endorsements of right-to-life and gun organizations.

He said four members of Congress campaigned with him on Saturday. " He also said the race has become a referendum on whether Israel gets to buy seats in Congress. ABC News has reached out to the Republican Jewish Coalition, American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Adelson's foundation, and Singer's foundation for comment but has not received a response.
