Kevin Warsh Reveals Financial Disclosures Prior to Fed Chair Confirmation Hearing

Kevin Warsh disclosed his financial holdings ahead of his confirmation hearing next week. Warsh is reported to have a net worth of more than $100 million and holds stakes in SpaceX and Polymarket. In addition to his investments, Warsh owns between $1 million and $5 million in UPS vested phantom stock and another $1 million to $5 million in vested restricted stock units.

Six months after his confirmation, he will receive a cash payment equal to the value of the vested phantom stock. Warsh will resign his positions at the Group of 30 and the Hoover Institution, as well as his role as a visiting fellow at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

He previously served as a Fed governor from 2006 to 2011 and worked for Morgan Stanley from 1995 to 2002, leaving as a vice president and executive director.

The chances of Warsh being confirmed as the next Fed chair by May 15 have fallen to 40%, while the odds of current Fed Chair Jay Powell leaving the Fed's board by May 30 have decreased to 31%.
