Kiaf Seoul and Frieze Seoul to Run Concurrently at COEX in September 2026
The two art fairs will overlap at Seoul's COEX convention center from Sept. 2-6, drawing 175 galleries to Kiaf and more than 125 to Frieze.

Kiaf Seoul is scheduled for Sept. 2-6, while Frieze Seoul will take place Sept. 2-5. Kiaf Seoul will feature 175 galleries from 18 countries, with 20 of those galleries participating for the first time, according to the Galleries Association of Korea.
Gallery Hyundai, Kukje Gallery and Hakgojae from South Korea are among the participants, along with Whitestone Gallery from Hong Kong and Kornfeld Galerie from Berlin. Kiaf Seoul will mark its 25th anniversary this year. Jung Ku-ho, a fashion designer, has been appointed creative director, the first time the fair has named an outside creative director, the Galleries Association of Korea said.
Frieze Seoul, now in its fifth edition, will include more than 125 galleries from 30 countries. About 70 percent of those galleries are based in the Asia-Pacific region, Frieze organizers said. Gladstone and Lehmann Maupin are among the galleries participating in the main section.
