Knicks Forward Jeremy Sochan Appears Shirtless at Championship Parade and Accepts Key to the City

Jeremy Sochan appeared shirtless at the Knicks' NBA Finals parade down the Canyon of Heroes and remained without a shirt on the podium as he accepted the key to the city. Mayor Zohran Mamdani hugged the shirtless Sochan and laughed that he was still without a shirt. Reserve guard Tyler Kolek was shown laughing in the background as Sochan posed for a picture with the mayor.

Sochan has been shirtless since the Knicks' title-clinching Game 5. After that game he was seen wearing goggles and partying at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. During the parade, Sochan nearly slipped and knocked over an oversized mock Larry O’Brien Trophy while Jalen Brunson was being interviewed by Craig Melvin.

Brunson flinched and stopped the interview to ensure nothing was broken. Sochan appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Knicks after spending the first half of the season with the Spurs. He played in two NBA Finals games, Game 4 and Game 5, and appeared in mop-up duty playoff games against the Hawks and 76ers.

The Knicks eliminated the Spurs and won the NBA Finals.
