"I think that's not basketball," the guard said on Tuesday. "That's something that they gotta look at. But he got away with one.
League review The league can still issue a retroactive flagrant foul.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no such ruling had been announced. Wembanyama already carries two penalty points from an earlier flagrant-two foul this postseason. Four points would trigger an automatic one-game suspension.
A retroactive flagrant-one call would add one point and require the player to avoid further infractions to remain eligible for the remainder of the series. Knicks guard Jalen Brunson did not comment directly on the play.
