Knicks Sweep Cavaliers to Reach NBA Finals for First Time Since 1999
The New York Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93 on Monday to complete a four-game sweep of the Eastern Conference finals. New York advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999 and will face either the Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs beginning June 3.

The New York Knicks routed the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93 on Monday night to finish a four-game sweep of the Eastern Conference finals and reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds, OG Anunoby scored 17, and Landry Shamet added 16 off the bench.
Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson each scored 15 for New York, which extended its postseason winning streak to 11 games.
The Knicks outscored Cleveland 32-5 on second-chance points and 33-9 on fast-break points. They led by 19 points at halftime and by as many as 45 in the fourth quarter before pulling their starters with 7:47 left. New York became the fourth team since the 1976 ABA-NBA merger to post an 11-game playoff winning streak. 7 points.

York will play either the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the finals. The Western Conference finals is tied 2-2, with Game 5 scheduled for Tuesday in Oklahoma City. The higher-seeded Western Conference team will have home-court advantage starting June 3.
