Škoda Releases Photos of Camouflaged Large Electric SUV Prototype

Sketches and photos of camouflaged Škoda Peaq prototypes were released this week, showing a large family SUV that will be offered in both five-seat and seven-seat versions. The Peaq is expected to measure 16 feet 5 inches in length and will be built on the Volkswagen Group MEB platform. Buzz van.

The official presentation of the Peaq is expected to occur soon. Technical details remain undisclosed, though the longer wheelbase suggests a battery capacity potentially similar to the 89-kWh unit specified for the Vision 7S concept unveiled in 2022. The production model is expected to retain the Vision 7S’s overall proportions while adopting a more minimalist design.

The eight rectangular bumper elements that appear on the smaller Epiq are likely to be omitted. Škoda is also preparing the Epiq, an electric vehicle priced at approximately $30,000 that will not be available in North America. The Epiq will be similar in exterior size to the Škoda Fabia while offering interior space comparable to the Kamiq or Karoq.

The Elroq, Škoda’s current electric model, is the best-selling electric car in Europe. Cross, and Cupra Raval, as well as models from Renault and Kia. The Peaq is expected to use technology similar to the Elroq and Enyaq.

It will not feature rear doors that open in the opposite direction or a futuristic interior layout with a seat on the center tunnel. Škoda has not released performance, feature, or pricing information for the Peaq. The model is anticipated to become the most expensive Škoda ever produced.
