KT Wiz Signs Logan Allen to Full Contract After Caleb Boushley Injury
The KT Wiz converted Logan Allen's temporary deal into a full-season agreement worth US$425,000. Allen had posted a 1-1 record and 3.33 ERA in five starts since joining the club in June.

The KT Wiz signed pitcher Logan Allen to a full contract for the remainder of the 2026 Korea Baseball Organization season on July 18. The left-hander will receive US$425,000 under the new agreement, Yonhap reported. Allen first joined the Wiz on June 12 under a six-week, US$125,000 deal as a temporary replacement for starter Caleb Boushley, who was placed on the injured list with a right shoulder injury.
KBO rules permit teams to sign short-term replacements for foreign players expected to miss at least six weeks. Allen recorded a 1-1 mark with a 3.33 ERA over 27 innings in five starts for the Wiz. He had pitched for the NC Dinos in 2025, finishing 7-12 with a 4.53 ERA in 32 starts.
"Logan has been our ace since joining the team, and we expect him to be a key part of our rotation going forward," Wiz general manager Na Do-hyun said. " Boushley posted a 7-3 record and 3.16 ERA in 11 outings during the 2026 season. His final appearance came on May 31, when he threw five scoreless innings and struck out 10 batters against the Kiwoom Heroes.
As of July 18 the Wiz stood in third place at 49-35-1, three games behind the first-place Samsung Lions. The club entered the day on a five-game winning streak, the longest active streak in the league.
