The Peartree Hill project, situated roughly 12 miles to the north of Hull, has output expected to serve around 167,000 homes. Since taking office in July 2024, Labour has given the green light to 29 major clean energy schemes. Ministers stated that the 29 schemes will generate enough power for the equivalent of 18 million households.
