Laetitia Beck shoots career-low 63 to lead ShopRite LPGA by one shot

Laetitia Beck recorded an 8-under 63 on Friday at the Bay Course at Seaview Hotel in Galloway, New Jersey, to lead the ShopRite LPGA by one stroke after 18 holes. Beck, the first Israeli player in LPGA history, needed only 25 putts and missed just three fairways. She closed the round with a 6-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole.

Denmark, returning after a 15-month maternity leave, shot 7 under and sits alone in second place. Her son Max, approaching his first birthday, accompanied her during the round. Broch Estrup made seven birdies in an eight-hole stretch from the fourth through the 11th holes. She last competed on Feb. 15, 2025, at the Saudi International on the Ladies European Tour.

Celine Boutier of France and Soo Bin Joo of South Korea posted 66, while a large group recorded 67. The ShopRite LPGA is one of two 54-hole events on the LPGA schedule this season. The field is smaller than usual because many top players are preparing for next week's U.S. Women's Open at Riviera in Los Angeles.
