LeBron James Announces Departure from Current Team

LeBron James announced he will move to another team for the 2026 season. The player informed team officials of his decision earlier this week. His agent, Rich Paul, shared the news with media members on Tuesday morning.

Statement from the Player James posted a three-sentence message on X thanking the organization for the past eight years.

“Truly a honor to wear the purple and gold while trying to continuing the greatness & legacies that came before me! Hope I made a few proud during my stint.”
