LeBron James Receives Voice Memos from Interested NBA Teams but Holds No In-Person Meetings

NBA teams interested in signing LeBron James have begun sending voice memos to his agent Rich Paul. Paul forwards the recordings to James, who has not held in-person meetings with any clubs during this free-agency period. Philadelphia 76ers executive Bob Myers appeared on the "Game Over" podcast alongside Paul and co-host Max Kellerman to deliver one such message.

"If you're talking about the Sixers, if he was here, I would say, 'I honestly believe this is your best chance to win,'" Myers said. He added that James must weigh factors beyond basketball because "it's his life" and that he would face public scrutiny regardless of the choice. It remains unclear how many teams have recorded memos.

James is entering his 24th NBA season, which could be his final one.
