Leeds Rhinos defeat Hull KR 34-8 in Super League match

Leeds Rhinos defeated Hull KR 34-8 at Headingley on Friday night in the Betfred Super League. Leeds scored first-half tries through Chris Hankinson and Maika Sivo, with Jake Connor kicking two penalties and seven conversions overall. Sivo added a second try after the break. Hull KR replied with a try from Noah Booth and two goals from Rhyse Martin, who was sin-binned late in the first half.

Match details Ash Handley scored Leeds' fifth try, bringing his Super League career points total to 500. The Rhinos moved two points clear at the top of the table. Hull KR head coach Willie Peters said the team had 13 or 14 errors and held the ball for roughly 30 percent of the match.

Leeds head coach Brad Arthur said the team had been asked to show bravery in the MND Awareness round and felt they dominated the collisions. Pre-match tributes were paid to former Leeds player Rob Burrow, who died in 2024.
