Liverpool Sign Two Players After Losing Salah, Robertson and Konaté

Liverpool completed the signings of defender Jérémy Jacquet and forward Víctor Muñoz, ESPN reported. The moves came after the departures of Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konaté. Head coach Andoni Iraola said the club has "obvious" areas to address in the transfer market.

"There are obvious situations where we need to sign players. Winger for example, we definitely need to sign a winger," Iraola said. Iraola added that the club must weigh market options, costs and existing squad depth.

"We have some tricky positions where we have injured players that we trust, but it is still not the ideal situation," he said. Midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, 27, has two years left on his contract after reaching the World Cup final with Argentina. Iraola said he wants to keep the player at Anfield.

Liverpool are in the United States for their Premier League preseason tour. The team will play matches against Sunderland, Leeds United and Wrexham.
