Longchamp Unveils Limited-Edition Le Pliage Bag With Jeremy Scott
Longchamp held a party in Soho to mark the launch of a new limited-edition canvas travel bag designed by Jeremy Scott. The $385 bag features a New York skyline print and postcard-style text on the back.
nypost.comA drone delivered one of the bags to Scott during the gathering. The bag carries a New York skyline image on the front and the phrase "Wish you were here! Love, Jeremy" on the back.
Guests received Scott-designed postcards to fill out and deposit in mint-colored mailboxes on the store's third-floor terrace. The launch marks Scott's third postcard-themed bag for the brand. Scott said the New York tribute was a straightforward choice. He noted that walking the city's streets creates a personal connection he values.
postcard editions include the 2012 "Greetings from Paradise" bag and the 2014 "Greetings from Paris" bag. A retrospective of Scott's work remains on view at the Longchamp store through July 5. The building's exterior displays a print of his first "Telephone" bag.
