Lotte Mart opened its 16th store in Vietnam on July 10 in Tay Ninh, Yonhap reported. The new outlet is the first store opening by Lotte Shopping Co. in the country since September 2023, when the company launched Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi.
About 90 percent of the Tay Ninh store is dedicated to grocery products. It also offers Korean food items including gimbap and tteokbokki as well as K-beauty products. Lotte Mart operates 64 stores across Southeast Asia as of July 12, including 48 in Indonesia.
Crowds attended the opening of the new outlet. The company plans to open its 17th store in Vietnam later in 2026 with a greater focus on grocery products.
