Lucas Glover Leads John Deere Classic by Two Shots After 36 Holes

Lucas Glover shot a 6-under 65 in the second round to reach 14-under 128 and open a two-shot lead after 36 holes at the 2026 John Deere Classic. He closed with a 12-foot par putt and has yet to record a bogey, posting 14 birdies and 22 pars. Glover leads the field in ball-striking and gained more than 7 strokes on the field with his approach play while making 150 feet of putts.

Lee Hodges shot 66 to stand at 12-under. Zac Blair shot 68 and is at 11-under. Zach Johnson, 50, shot 70 and is tied for 11th at 8-under. Jackson Koivun missed the cut in his PGA Tour professional debut after recording eight bogeys over 36 holes.

Preston Stout and Blades Brown are tied for 19th at 7-under. Eric Cole shot 63 with two eagles, including one on the par-5 17th, to make the cut on the number. Players who missed the cut include Daniel Berger, Max Greyserman, Sudarshan Yellamaraju, Michael Kim, Aldrich Potgieter, Andrew Novak, and Jackson Koivun.

The event is being played at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
