Prominent figures within the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement have voiced criticism of President Donald Trump's position on the ongoing war with Iran. U.S. officials to reject any orders from Trump to conduct mass attacks on Iranian civilians.
This comes as Trump has threatened to target Iranian infrastructure to prevent the country from obtaining nuclear weapons and destabilizing global order. U.S. and Iran began on February 28. In a primetime speech last week, Trump's first since the war started, he stated that the conflict would end shortly without providing a specific timeline.
Trump emphasized that action is necessary because previous statements against Iran acquiring nuclear weapons have not been enforced.
Several conservative media personalities, who previously supported Trump, have publicly opposed his approach to Iran.

Cernovich added that Trump rode a cultural wave but that issues like avoiding wars matter. In another post, Cernovich stated that Trump's goal is to turn Iran into Syria through an unpopular war that could not be resolved quickly, leading to attacks on hospitals and bridges.
Alex Jones and former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene have called for Trump's Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him from office. Carlson, on his podcast, urged military aides to say no to any plan involving the slaughter of Iranian civilians, including potential nuclear weapon use.
