Man Charged With Arson at London Memorial Wall Honoring Iranian Protesters and October 7 Victims
A dual British-Iranian national has been charged with arson after a fire damaged a memorial cabinet at a site in Golders Green. The wall commemorates protesters killed in Iran and victims of the 2023 Nova festival attack. Police are investigating possible links to other arsons targeting Jewish and Iranian communities.

A 45-year-old man with dual British and Iranian citizenship has been charged with arson following a fire at a memorial wall in Golders Green, north London. Ali Fallahi, of Ilford, is accused of setting fire to a memorial cabinet belonging to the Miga Rally community organisation on Limes Avenue shortly after midnight on April 27.
The blaze damaged the cabinet but did not spread to the wall itself.
Police were alerted to the fire at about 00:15 BST.
The wall commemorates protesters killed during a crackdown in Iran in January as well as victims of the Hamas attack on the Nova music festival in Israel in 2023.

A woman aged 38 who was detained in connection with the incident has been released without further action. The Metropolitan Police confirmed Fallahi holds both British and Iranian nationality. The incident occurred in an area with a significant Jewish population.”
