Seattle first baseman Josh Naylor left Monday night's 3-2 win over the New York Mets in the 10th inning with back spasms after hitting a tying home run in the seventh. Naylor connected off reliever Brooks Raley to tie the score, but his back tightened as he rounded the bases and returned to the Seattle dugout.

Patrick Wisdom, who pinch-hit for Luke Raley later in the inning, took over at first base to start the eighth.

"I believe it was more on the swing, on the home run," manager Dan Wilson said. " Wilson added that Naylor's status is day-to-day. 102 with two RBIs in Seattle's first 15 games. 296 with one home run, three doubles and nine RBIs in 108 at-bats.
