geeky-gadgets.comMarvel's Wolverine will release on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026, two months before Grand Theft Auto 6. Sony confirmed the date during its June 2 State of Play presentation. The title will remain a console exclusive with no PC version scheduled.
Pre-orders are available now through multiple retailers.
All pre-orders include the Classic Brown suit, Reflective Claws, one Technique Point, and four PlayStation Network avatars.
The game carries a Mature rating due to graphic combat that includes limb damage and finishers. A gore toggle allows players to reduce the violence level. Insomniac developed the title with a structure similar to God of War rather than its open-world Spider-Man games. The studio also confirmed PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements.
The narrative follows Logan as he hunts the Morlocks after their capture by the Reavers, a cybernetic mercenary group working for Bolivar Trask. Jean Grey appears alongside him in the mutant task force Team X. The story takes place in the Earth-1048 continuity shared with Insomniac's Spider-Man titles and spans locations including Madripoor, Canada, and Tokyo.
