Voters across Maryland are participating in primary elections for all seven U.S. House districts on Tuesday. The retirement of the representative from the 5th Congressional District has created an open seat for the first time since 1981.
State delegate Adrian Boafo and former Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker lead the field in the Democratic primary for the suburban district. Polls close at 8 p.m. EDT. Live results are being tracked by Decision Desk HQ.
All seven districts are holding primaries the same day. The 5th District seat is expected to remain in Democratic hands in the general election.
