McGregor Weighs 170.5 Pounds, Holloway 170 Pounds Ahead of UFC 329

Conor McGregor weighed in at 170.5 pounds while Max Holloway registered 170 pounds on Friday morning ahead of their UFC 329 main event bout. The weigh-in occurred without issues, according to the report.

Holloway has never fought higher than 155 pounds.

Twenty months ago, Holloway fought former featherweight champion Ilia Topuria at 145 pounds. McGregor has fought three times at welterweight. Holloway will enter the 170-pound division for the first time.

Holloway stands at 5-foot-11, giving him a 2-inch height advantage over McGregor, who is listed at 5-foot-9. McGregor holds a 74-inch reach compared to Holloway's 69 inches. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen commented on McGregor's appearance.

“I saw Conor yesterday… This guy's huge. First off, he's as hard as a rock, and secondly, I'm looking at him, and I said, 'Conor, I fought middleweights my whole life. Holloway will need to adjust to fighting 30 pounds heavier than his previous bouts less than two years ago.”
