Mercuria and Motor Oil Hellas Sign LNG Supply Cooperation Agreement

Mercuria Energy and Motor Oil Hellas signed a memorandum of understanding on May 25, 2026, establishing a framework for long-term cooperation on LNG supply through the Dioriga Gas Floating Storage and Regasification Unit project. The agreement covers the Dioriga Gas FSRU, which Motor Oil Hellas is developing through a subsidiary in Greece's Saronic Gulf.

The FSRU is designed to receive, store, and regasify liquefied natural gas for delivery into the Greek energy system. The memorandum sets out terms under which Mercuria would supply LNG to the facility on a long-term basis.

Both companies stated that the MOU provides a basis for further commercial negotiations but does not create binding obligations. Details on volumes, pricing, or delivery schedules were not disclosed.
