Plaintiffs' attorneys Lexi Hazam, Previn Warren, Chris Seeger and Ronald Johnson said in a statement that their focus remains on pursuing justice for the remaining 1,200 school districts who have filed cases. Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said the company resolved the case amicably and remains focused on building protections like Teen Accounts.
YouTube spokesperson José Castañeda said the claims were amicably resolved. Snap spokesperson Monique Bellamy said the company was pleased to resolve the case in an amicable manner.
The next case in a California state court in Los Angeles is expected to begin in July. The next federal bellwether case is slated for January.
