Metropolitan Police responded to reports of fighting at an unauthorized gathering on Clapham Common on Friday, May 22. Officers dispersed the crowd after violence broke out among teenagers who had gathered for an event promoted on TikTok. A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab wounds assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening. Nine people were arrested at the scene.

Four boys aged 16, 17, 17, and 19 were arrested on suspicion of affray. A 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife. An 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer. All nine remain in police custody.
