After several unsuccessful attempts to reach him, a social worker received a call from an unknown number and handed the device to the teacher.
The Video Call The caller asked, “Is this Ms.
Etta?” Staff members reported that the two laughed, reminisced, and shared a moment that brought tears to everyone in the room. A clip posted by a local news outlet shows Ms. Etta on a couch during the call, with Jordan wearing a blue t-shirt. Her family said Jordan’s gesture created a memory they will carry forever. The call occurred while Ms. Etta was under the care of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
